The Artist Behind the Experience

Dona Georgieva is an immersive performance artist behind Pyro Priestess, known for creating high-impact, visually captivating experiences that blend fire, movement, and character-driven storytelling. Born in Bulgaria and based in the United States for over two decades, her work is shaped by a global perspective and a deep-rooted passion for creating unforgettable experiences.

With over 10 years of professional experience, Dona has performed for festivals, corporate events, VIP clients, and large-scale productions across the country. She has been featured on television, selected for elite performance teams, and serves as the managing resident performer at a luxury Latin restaurant in Midtown Atlanta called Alta Toro—where she directs weekly entertainment, leading and coordinating her and her teammates’ troupe, Hypnotix, to deliver consistent, high-impact and safe indoor fire show performances for nearly three years. Her performances are dynamic and ever-evolving, combining a wide range of fire and LED disciplines with stilt walking, dancing, and immersive character design. She creates moments that feel alive—keeping audiences engaged, surprised, and fully immersed from start to finish.

Collaboration is a core part of her work. As a co-founding member of the performance troupe Hypnotix, Dona works closely with this trusted network of highly skilled performers across multiple disciplines. In addition to solo bookings, she is able to coordinate multi-artist and multi-skill productions—making it easy for clients to bring larger-scale entertainment visions to life through a single point of contact.

In addition to live performance, Dona is also an award-winning model, with a focus in bodypaint artistry. Her work has earned multiple first-place titles and has been featured in touring art projects across Europe and North America, including The Human Canvas, a collaborative bodypaint exhibition inspired by classical works such as Van Gogh’s Starry Night.

At her core, Dona is a lifelong creator. From early roots in theater and music to designing her own costumes and crafting handmade jewelry, she continues to evolve her artistry both on and off the stage.
